Killerpilze - Residents of the republic!
We left them, elated, in Paris after three nights of concerts crazy. The Killerpilze, not content to lock down the capital, have a great desire to come back to us in September, then in December, let alone a year 2009 which will be full of events. Jo, singer-guitarist, took advantage of a small week of vacation to confide in us.
How's the last time you came to Paris?
Jo: Very good. The French fans we miss very much, for so long already, we look forward to returning in September. For now, we turn to Europe, writing new songs for the next album. We are on holiday for a week.
BATACLAN TWO!
Already a date in Paris on September 28 to complete as it adds another December 20th!
Jo: Yes! The concert at the Bataclan in September is already full and we want our last show of the year and the tour of "Mit Pauken Und Raketen" takes place in Paris. Certainly hope that this well is completed, will be the best concert of the year because it's our last one before new adventures.
This concert is a gift, a way of giving back to France?
Jo: Yes, it is a great gift that we want do to our fans to thank them for their support for "Mit Pauken Und Raketen, have not ceased to follow us on our first time here so far. We are more returns than other times, for concerts or promotional visits and have always received a very warm welcome. We want to say a big thanks for all they do for the group, their support, their enthusiasm, without them we would not have returned so often.
We give the impression that France is a little 'home away from home ...
Jo: Yeah totally, it's really our second "chez nous". We love coming here, we love the people, their attitude, their hospitality, we do not have any fans that surpasses the French fans. Street teams are many, phone to television, magazines ... E 'genius to see what people are capable of doing for our group, is fabulous.

go back to your three dates in Paris in February, it retains a memory in particular?
Jo: It was crazy. I remember that many fans had of the paper with the words of our songs and we wield. On "Der Moment", showed us what we love and how important is that we are there. Playing three times on stage in Paris, is extraordinary, is the first time such a thing comes to us, there is a city where possible. The first time we came to play, in May 2007, we were so far from being able to dream this. We have experienced many things in France, here we have many good memories.
Apart from the stage, what are your favorite things to do in Paris?
Jo: Definitely shopping because there are so many brilliant boutique, visit the Sacre Coeur, the Eiffel Tower, do some 'tourists. Go out and eat because the food is incredible. The festivals are wonderful places to do, we hope to go out with the next time we come.
FUN WITH U.S.
Expect a French tour in 2009?
Jo: yes, of course! E 'genius because we have fans all over the country in the south, nell'Oves, we really regret not having come even in cities like Marseille, Nice, Nantes and Lille. I would still say what is important to us to play in all of 2009. Not only want to see Paris, Nancy and Lyon, each fan deserves to have the same possibilities and to come to see in concert and have fun with us. I hope everyone has a little 'patience and will wait because it is one of our biggest dreams to be able to discover all of France. The built in 2009, we are so grateful for our fans around the country and we want to come and thank them for their support. We want to play everywhere we have fans. We look the time and I really hope this will answer all.
I spoke of your new album, you began to write some songs?
Jo: Yes, we started writing songs for three weeks, we put our ideas together. There is no pressure, we just write the best record possible. We have time, we want to let it come a little 'things. The album will come out in early 2009, we are not pressed. And then, it is worth spending some time in room to try to write songs, throw the idea, talk about it, trying to assess what we have done before. I think it will be a really good album that will be a bit 'more different from previous two.
IN RUSSIA ...
The year that was going to go crazy, you had many concerts, do you think it influences your new album?
Jo: Oh yes, definitely. The concerts, the experiences we had on stage are very important elements that affect our writing. We have become better musicians, able to do things we had never done before. We play better, sing better, then we write better songs. But put aside the concerts, we had many things in our lives with our friends, our parents, it gives us many ideas in common on which to write.
The fact of being away from your house so long it can also inspire you ...
Jo: Oh yes, of course. E 'genius to be able to leave home too often (laughs), we appreciate all of a sudden a little' more moments where we are, we love to play live and is our biggest dream is to play all over Europe. We'll be playing in ten days in Russia, we played in France, Holland, Belgium, is wonderful to see the countries that welcome us.
We can also wait for the new musical influences?
Jo: Yes, we hear many things without stopping and discover new groups. Recently, we liked the Eels, listen to Beatsteaks, one of our favorite bands, the Die Artze course, we love to take things here and there and create our own sound. I think the new songs are definitely different and varied, for the moment we do not know the direction they will take the album in its entirety but we want to try many things, not to impose any barrier.

Jo: Yes, there will be no radical change of musical direction but a few surprises and new things. Killerpilze will always be, but more fresh, new, better, here!
A SUPER YEAR FOR U.S.

Jo: it's true! We never ever wanted to play the same songs, do a little 'the same album, we really want and need to write new things, we can not wait to play the new. But not right away, we still have some way before we finish. I believe that 2009 will be a super year for us.

Jo: No, we keep our secret songs. Next, I will not give false information to the people but perhaps we can make some surprises for our fans to make them wait until 2009.
ROMANCE, FLUID AND BEAUTIFUL
Last When we saw you at the Bataclan, have you said you would improve your French ...
Jo: (Laughs) I do my best, but not very good, I promise I'll get to September, full of new sentences in French. It 's a very difficult language for us, we like to talk about it, is a romantic language, smooth, really beautiful.
But sometimes not afraid to get in a country where nobody speaks your language?
Jo: Not really, people know that we are Germans, we have never really known barriers for languages. Sometimes we talk a little 'French or English if we need it but it's the fan who learn German and it is wonderful.
German is also a difficult language!
Jo: Yes it's true but our fans are so smart that we understand and facilitate the effort.
The German professors here will adore!
Jo: (laughs) Thank you! It 's our cultural mission, take the German language everywhere! And we hope that everyone will learn!
If not, you dream to get out of Europe ', to play on other continents?
Jo: No, not really in our plans for now, we really focus on Europe. We will never have thought you could play outside of Germany, go to these places and so little time. We dream with a new album to go completely across Europe and hopefully this will happen. Then it is up to our fans but to us it's sort of what happens. We want to play in many countries but especially in front of more people. America, Asia, not in our plans, we want to first make a good album for our fans in Europe.

You know when they entered the study?
Jo: Yes, I know but I can not tell you, is no secret that we can not disclose but if you frequent our MySpace regularly, you'll see, Andam to write blogs to keep our fans informed of developments in the recordings. Can you talk about Sandra, the French girl who came knocking on your doors Dilligen?
Jo: Siiiii! It 'was at Easter, we were home for two days quietly at home. She rang the bell and appeared with his father. At first, he had not surprised since it is not the first time a fan comes to our house to see us, but when he told us that he was French, I said: " Oh mon Dieu! D'où viens you? " ("Oh my God! Where are you coming?"). She explained that her father drove 1000 km to see us carry. It 's very impressive to say that someone has made a journey so long for an autograph and two or three shots, but it was beautiful, she's really very nice and told us he will come to see us at the Bataclan in September, perhaps in the audience!
