Interview made by the Official Street Team the United Kingdom. ( myspace.com / killerpilzeukfans )
After our first rehearsal with the band 5 years ago we went to a pizzeria and Fabi (was 9 years old then) ordered a pizza with mushrooms. The waitress brought us the pizza and the mushrooms on the pizza were so huge that Fabi said: "Wow, these Pilze (mushrooms) are killers." We thought it was nice and we thought that name. We are happy to have this name.
What made you start with the band?
We were at a concert of a band and we loved it. We saw people dancing and singing and decided to do the same thing: being on stage, perform our songs and celebrate the show with our fans!
How long you play your instruments?
We started to play very soon. Jo started playing the piano for 6 years, Fabi began playing the trumpet at 5 years and Max also played piano for a while '. We learned to play our instruments when we present started with the band.
's favorite song to play live?
Wow, it's hard, because we love every single song. But we prefer to live, especially "Hoch Springt" and "40 Tage 13 Stunden.
What do you do after a concert?
We are used to relax and let us shower. Then we go to sign autographs for fans.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
See you on stage. It 's our life. We hope to do a European tour sold out and obviously we hope to play a concert in the UK. The music is our life and will not stop.
How are your fans?
Our fans are the craziest, most beautiful and lovely people we know. They do so much for us and in every way. This means a lot to us. Without our fans we would not be able to live our dream and we know it. The love from the depths of our hearts. We have many fans but also many girls as boys listen to our music and go wild in our show. It 's wonderful. We make no difference with the fans!
What do you think of Tokio Hotel?
Tokio Hotel are a good band. Killerpilze and Tokio Hotel have created the "new wave of young German music." These guys deserve every bit of their success. Work hard like us and we like their music. Both bands have a different style of music, but there's nothing like competition or anything like that. We respect each other and we like to attend the parties and going to concerts of both.
What do you wear to sleep? See a bit
'...;-) Boxer!
What is your favorite English word?
puhh, is difficult. We like "awesome" maybe ...;-)
're all single?
Yes, we are all single. Unfortunately. You can not have a girlfriend, as we are constantly on tour and we have much to do. But we are still trying and perhaps find the girl of our dreams in the UK. We have heard that there are pretty girls there.
is better, a girl sexy or smart?
A mix of course. ;-)
What is your band / your favorite singer / or time?
We like many artists: Die Ärzte (Berlin, Germany), Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds To Mars, Thrice, Beatsteaks, Metallica, Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse, Bullet for My Valentine ....
If you were on a desert island, what to eat first?
Sand ...
Do you have any phobias?
Yes, Jo is afraid of small Fabi and tiny rooms and is afraid of snakes and spiders ... disgusting!
Who is the laziest of the band?
Max. Definitely! Always sleeps and loves to do nothing and simply lounge.
ever you go out with a fan?
Yes, certainly, if it is the right one. But you must understand that it is so easy to go out with a guy from a famous band ...
What do you think of the owner of the UK street team, Laura, and Paige?
do not know how to say how much we are proud and grateful. It 's wonderful that Laura, and Paige had the idea to do Street Team. It 's really wonderful. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and that more fans should be on our official website English and become true fans of Killerpilze. Your promotion means a lot to us and we hope that you will continue with your great work.
We want to thank from the bottom of our hearts and we'd love to come and do some shows in the UK.
Thanks!
